If you live in a house there are a number of different options open to you. Depending on the type of house you have, you may be able to build an extension or conservatory to the rear or side of the property if you have sufficient land space available.
If not or as an alternative, you can extend into the loft. The loft is often an unused and empty space or, more commonly, used as a long-term storage area for things we no longer use or need.
If you have a garage then it may also be a valuable source of additional living space. If attached to the house it may be possible to convert it into living accommodation as an extra bedroom or dining room, or even use it to enlarge an existing room like the lounge or kitchen. And if the garage is a single-storey attachment, it may even be possible to build above it to add extra bedrooms or bedroom with en-suite bathroom facilities.
